MECHANISM OF ACTION
A pentadecapeptide (GEPPPGKPADDAGLV) derived from the BPC protein in human gastric juice. It activates the VEGFR2-Akt-eNOS pathway for angiogenesis. It increases nitric oxide production and promotes FAK and paxillin signaling for cell migration. It centrally modulates the dopaminergic and serotonergic systems.
