MECHANISM OF ACTION

It inhibits nicotinamide N-methyltransferase (NNMT), helping to prevent the degradation of NAD+ precursors. The intracellular increase in NAD+ promotes a cellular metabolism geared toward oxidative phosphorylation, helps reduce lipogenesis in adipocytes, and activates SIRT1/AMPK-related pathways.
