Description
Ipamorelin
Growth hormone

MECHANISM OF ACTION

Selective GHS-R1a agonist pentapeptide (Aib-His-D-2-Nal-D-Phe-Lys-NH2). It minimally mimics typical hunger peptides without significant cross-reactivity with other GHSR subtypes. It stimulates pulsatile GH release without elevating cortisol, prolactin, or ACTH. It is the most selective GHRP available.

KEY BENEFITS

  • A clean GH surge with no side effects associated with cortisol or prolactin.
  • Increased lean muscle mass and fat loss.
  • Improved sleep quality and recovery.
  • Regulation of intestinal motility, with application in ileus.
  • Ideal for long-term use due to its selectivity profile.
  • Reference for use in combination with CJC-1295 without DAC.

SIDE EFFECTS AND SAFETY

Minimal. Slight water retention. No significant increase in cortisol or prolactin, nor stimulation of appetite. GHRP with better tolerability.

RESEARCH AND CLINICAL NOTES

Raun et al. (1998): Ipamorelin showed high selectivity compared to GHRP-2 and GHRP-6 in porcine models. Clinical trial involving the ileum (Helsinn): Phase III trial for postoperative gastrointestinal recovery. The most commonly used GHRP in clinical protocols involving peptides.

TARGET PROFILE:

The GH peptide best suited for anti-aging protocols, sleep programs, and body composition.
