ARA 290 (Cibinetide)
39,99 €
- Significant improvement in symptoms of small-fiber neuropathy, including pain and autonomic function.
- Anti-inflammatory action without immunosuppression.
- Microvascular endothelial protection and improved tissue perfusion.
- Neuroprotection in cases of ischemic and diabetic neuropathy.
- No hematopoietic effects; suitable for long-term use.
MECHANISM OF ACTION
A non-erythropoietic EPO-derived peptide. It selectively activates the innate repair receptor, the IRR/common β-receptor complex, without activating the classic EPO receptor homodimer. Downstream, it reduces NF-κB, upregulates the Nrf2 antioxidant response, promotes the bioavailability of nitric oxide, and modulates the regeneration of small-diameter nerve fibers.
KEY BENEFITS
- Significant improvement in symptoms of small-fiber neuropathy, including pain and autonomic function.
- Anti-inflammatory action without immunosuppression.
- Microvascular endothelial protection and improved tissue perfusion.
- Neuroprotection in cases of ischemic and diabetic neuropathy.
- No hematopoietic effects; suitable for long-term use.
SIDE EFFECTS AND SAFETY
Well tolerated in clinical trials. Mild reactions at the injection site. No erythropoietic stimulation.
RESEARCH AND CLINICAL NOTES
Phase II trial in small-fiber neuropathy associated with sarcoidosis: significant reduction in pain and improvement in corneal nerve density compared with placebo. Improvement in autonomic function demonstrated in cohorts with diabetic neuropathy.
TARGET PROFILE:
